Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy applies to uromoda.com and to Garage Solutions 4 Less, which operates the site and sells, delivers and installs Uromoda _uno cabinets, and it governs how we collect and use your data. Unless otherwise noted, references to “Uromoda”, “we” and “us” include both the site and the company. By using this website, you consent to the data practices described in this statement.
Collection of your personal information
In order to provide the products and services offered on this site, we may collect personally identifiable information, such as your:
- First and last name
- Delivery and mailing address
- Email address
- Phone number
- Postal code, when you use the installation check on the home page
- Order details — the set you chose, the amount paid and your PayPal transaction reference
- When you use the Talk to us form: the set you’re interested in, your question, your marketing preferences, and how you reached the site (for example the campaign or the ad you clicked)
We do not collect any personal information about you unless you voluntarily provide it to us. You may be required to provide certain personal information when you choose to use certain products or services on the site, for example when you:
- place an order (your details are collected by PayPal at checkout and passed to us to fulfil it);
- check whether installation is available at your postal code;
- send us an email, phone us or ask us to contact you through the Talk to us form;
- enter a promotion or sign up for special offers from us.
We use this information to communicate with you about the products and services you have requested and to fulfil your order, as described below. We may also gather additional personal or non-personal information in the future.
Use of your personal information
We collect and use your personal information to operate this website, to deliver the products and services you have requested — including arranging delivery and, at participating locations, installation — and to respond to your enquiries.
We may also use your personal information to inform you of other products or services available from Garage Solutions 4 Less and its affiliates. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time, as described under Email communications.
Payment information
Checkout on uromoda.com is handled by PayPal. When you place an order you leave this site and enter your payment details on PayPal’s secure pages. We never see or store your full card number. PayPal shares with us the information needed to fulfil your order: your name, delivery address, email address, phone number, the set you chose and the transaction details. PayPal’s handling of your payment data is governed by PayPal’s own privacy statement, which you can read on paypal.com.
Sharing information with third parties
We do not sell, rent or lease our customer lists to third parties.
We may share your information with trusted partners who help us fulfil your order and run the site. In every case these third parties are prohibited from using your personal information except to provide those services to us, and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information. They include:
- Garage Solutions 4 Less locations and installers in your area, who receive your name, delivery address, phone number and order details to deliver and install your cabinets;
- Freight carriers, who receive your name, delivery address and phone number to arrange delivery;
- PayPal, which processes your payment as described above;
- Netlify, our website host, which receives what you send through the Talk to us form; Zapier, which passes it to Jobber, the customer-management system our team uses to call you back and prepare your quote;
- Providers who help us perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, or provide customer support;
- The analytics and advertising services described under Cookies, analytics and advertising.
We may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good-faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) comply with the law or with legal process served on us or the site; (b) protect and defend our rights or property; or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the site or the public.
Tracking user behaviour
We may keep track of the pages our users visit within uromoda.com in order to determine which of our products and services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customised content and advertising to customers whose behaviour indicates they are interested in a particular subject area.
Automatically collected information
Information about your computer hardware and software may be automatically collected. This can include your IP address, browser type, device type, domain names, access times and referring website addresses. This information is used for the operation of the service, to maintain the quality of the service, and to provide general statistics regarding use of the website.
Cookies, analytics and advertising

Cookies cannot be used to run programs or deliver viruses to your device; they are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a web server in the domain that issued the cookie.

- Google Analytics and Google Ads conversion tracking, to understand how visitors use the site and to measure our advertising. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on and manage ad personalisation in your Google Ads Settings.
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel, to measure and personalise advertising on Facebook and Instagram. You can manage this in your Facebook Ad Preferences.
- A first-party browser setting that remembers the postal code you entered in the installation check for the duration of your visit. It is stored only in your browser and is not sent to us.
- A first-party browser setting that remembers, for up to 90 days, the campaign or ad that brought you to the site. It stays in your browser and reaches us only if you send the Talk to us form, so we can tell which advertising works.
You have the ability to accept or decline cookies. Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser settings to decline them. If you choose to decline cookies, some interactive features of the site may not work fully, but you can still place an order.

Security of your personal information

All pages on uromoda.com are served over an encrypted HTTPS (TLS) connection, and card payments are handled entirely by PayPal on its own secure systems. We strive to take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorised access to or alteration of your personal information.
Unfortunately, no data transmission over the Internet or any wireless network can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond our control; and (b) the security, integrity and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through this site cannot be guaranteed.
Children under thirteen
We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under the age of thirteen. If you are under the age of thirteen, you must ask your parent or guardian for permission to use this website.
Email communications
When you place an order we will email you about it — order confirmation, delivery and installation arrangements, and any questions about your order. These are service messages and are sent to every customer. When you send the Talk to us form we will call, text or email you about that request; we send marketing messages only if you ticked the matching box on the form.
From time to time we may also contact you by email to provide announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys or other general communication, in accordance with Canada’s Anti-Spam Legislation. To improve our services, we may receive a notification when you open an email from us or click a link in it. If you would like to stop receiving marketing or promotional communications, you may opt out by clicking the Unsubscribe link in any such email or by emailing hello@uromoda.com.
External data storage
We may store your data on servers provided by third-party hosting vendors and service providers with whom we have contracted, including our website host and the analytics and payment providers named above. Some of these providers are located outside Canada, including in the United States, and your information may be subject to the laws of those jurisdictions while it is there.
Access, correction and retention
You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or withdraw your consent to its use, subject to legal and contractual restrictions. Write to us at the contact details below and we will respond within 30 days. We keep order records for as long as needed to fulfil and support your order and to meet our tax, accounting and warranty obligations. We handle personal information in accordance with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and applicable provincial privacy law.
Changes to this statement
We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the email address you gave us with your order, by placing a prominent notice on this site, and/or by updating the privacy information on this page. Your continued use of the site and/or our services after such modifications will constitute your acknowledgement of the modified Privacy Policy and your agreement to abide and be bound by it.
